Linzy Felix

Winter Design Intern

Why did you pick this profession?

I developed a passion for graphic design my sophomore year of high school when I took a graphic design class as one of my art electives, and immediately the class caught my attention. I enjoyed every minute of it, never once looking at the clock to see when class was over. When the school year was almost over, my teacher pulled me aside and told me that I should seriously consider graphic design as my profession. Six years later, here I am ecstatically graduating with a graphic design degree.

What’s your favorite hobby and why?

My favorite hobby is to draw, paint or color in my sketchbook. I like to give myself a chance to relax and let my mind go at the end of a long day.

What famous person (dead or alive) would you like to meet and what would you say?

I would like to meet Ariana Grande. She has been through a lot in the past couple of months and I relate to her music. She is a role model to so many girls all over the world. I would tell her that she shows me every day how to be strong and that no matter what life throws at me, I will persevere as long as I work hard and put my mind towards it.

What was your first concert and do you still listen to their music?

Believe it or not, the first concert that I went to was a Bruce Springsteen concert. My parents are die-hard fans, so they brought me to a concert when I was younger. Unfortunately, I was too young to appreciate good music and I fell asleep for the entire concert. Now that I am older, I like to listen to Bruce. Whenever one of his songs comes on I always think of my dad and that’s why I love to listen to him every now and then.

What actor/actress would play you in a movie and why?

I would choose Jennifer Aniston to play me in a movie. For years I’ve been obsessed with the show “Friends.” Not only is she amazing in her role in that show, but every movie I’ve watched with her in it I’ve loved.

How would you describe your work at JFG as it relates to customers?

I would describe my primary role as helping to create visual concepts for customers, and I communicate how they want their company and products to be portrayed.
