“The No. 1 reason why people give up so fast is because they tend to look at how far they still have to go instead of how far they’ve gotten.”

Mac Miller

To some people, coloring outside the lines seems like an opportunity rather than a problem. It’s not that they can’t work within parameters, they just tend to do their best work when they bend the rules to fit their content instead of the other way around.

That sounds a lot like Quinn. Since he was in first grade, Quinn has been writing NSFRP (Not Safe For Research Paper) content that pushed the creative boundaries of what constituted “schoolwork.” Despite his unorthodox approach, the quality of his work meant it was almost always accepted by his teachers.

Although he has since learned the rules of the road – and how to follow them – this attitude has permeated throughout Quinn’s life and has informed the choices he makes and the risks he takes. Whether it’s dancing like nobody’s watching, singing his favorite songs out loud (no matter how bad it sounds) or wearing clothes he designed on his own, Quinn is never content doing anything basic for himself or for JFG’s clients.
