Print, television, digital, and radio partners give big to local nonprofit organizations

Western New York’s tenth annual CreateAthon event is less than a week away and the generosity of our media partners has been astounding.

The only event of its kind in Buffalo Niagara, JFG is celebrating its tenth annual around-the-clock creative and design marathon. Each year, CreateAthon provides local nonprofit organizations with free advertising and marketing services. This year’s nonprofits will receive extra benefits in the way of low or no cost advertising and production services from the outpouring support of local media.

“CreateAthon is all about giving back to the community,” said Carmel Cerullo-Beiter, partner and vice president of J. Fitzgerald Group. “The support from our media partners for our tenth-anniversary event has really captured the community spirit of Western New York. We can’t wait to get started.”

The 24-hour creative blitz starts at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 20 at the JFG offices at 12 West Main Street in Lockport. Finished work will be presented to the selected nonprofits at 8:00 a.m. on July 21. During the event, JFG will be providing updates on their social media pages, including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook Live.
