JFG then worked with GCASA to create a new website for the council that provided more visual elements, a modern look, a simple-to-use backend for updating and sharing new content, and a responsive design that loaded on all devices. This site was launched in early 2018.
Since launching the new website, GCASA has seen a marked improvement in visitors and site traffic. Comparing the six months following the website launch to the same period in 2017:
• Website users increased 28.2 percent – more than 1,100 more visitors
• New users – visitors who had never been to the site before – increased 29.8 percent
• Total sessions increased 23.8 percent
• Visitors from Organic Search (visitors from search engine results) increased 21.4 percent
