YWCA of Niagara selects J. Fitzgerald group for Marketing Assistance to announce Merger, Anniversary

Lockport, NY – J. Fitzgerald Group (JFG), an international marketing and advertising firm based in Lockport, was selected recently to handle a marketing and media campaign for the YWCA of Niagara.

Representing women across Niagara County, the YWCA of Niagara is celebrating its 100th anniversary and is also in the process of merging with the YWCA Tonawandas. JFG will handle all branding, marketing and public relations for the combined YWCA, to be renamed the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier. “The mission of the YWCA – to eliminate racism and empower women – is more important than ever in Niagara County,” according to JFG Partner Carmel Cerullo-Beiter. “We are thrilled to be able to drive both awareness – and donations for various services – to help women throughout the county.”

The marketing projects will be funded by the John R. Oishei Foundation. The John R. Oishei Foundation strives to be a catalyst for change to enhance economic vitality and quality of life for the Buffalo Niagara region through grantmaking, leadership and network building. The Foundation was established in 1940 by John R. Oishei, founder of Trico Products Corporation.
