Deadline Fast Approaching for Western New York’s Only CreateAthon Event

JFG’s annual 24-hour creative blitz supporting area nonprofit organizations is coming soon! The deadline for area nonprofit organizations to apply for free advertising and marketing services is June 12, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

Up to five organizations will be selected to take part in this year’s CreateAthon. Selections will be announced on June 20, 2017. Nonprofit organizations may request projects including the creation of logos, letterhead packages, brochures, advertisements, direct mail campaigns, posters, radio scripts, outdoor billboards, signage, banners, and more. Each application will be evaluated for inclusion based on audience reach, the ability of services to make an impact on the nonprofit organization, and opportunities to help groups that are currently underfunded.

J. Fitzgerald Group will meet with each of the beneficiary nonprofits prior to the event to discuss the marketing tools they need most. The round-the-clock creative and design marathon will begin at 8:00 a.m. on July 20, 2017 when the JFG team and a group of volunteer graphic designers, writers, and brand strategists will assemble at the JFG offices at 12 West Main Street in Lockport. Finished work will be presented to the selected nonprofit organizations at 8:00 a.m. on July 21, 2017.
